The Art of Okinawan Martial Arts
The style of Okinawan Martial Arts we teach develops concentration, speed, power, strength, accuracy, balance, and coordination. In its purest form, training is about mind and body—seeking more than just physical strength and skill. Our program aims to build self-discipline, self-control, self-confidence, patience, humility, respect, and perseverance, all while providing a full-body workout that engages every muscle.

At the Classical Martial Arts Academy, we teach Classical Shobayashi-Ryu. This traditional art includes:
Karate-Jutsu – empty hand techniques
Kobu-Jutsu – traditional weapons
Tuidi-Jutsu – joint locks and seizing hand
Kyusho-Jutsu – pressure points
All are taught with a focus on life protection and personal wellness.
As Sensei Revell says:
“Learning life protection hand-to-hand combat skills is a side effect of what we are truly trying to accomplish!”
